Identity and Access Management Process - Identity Management

Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication scheme that allows a user to log in with a single ID and password to any number of related, but independent, software systems.

AWS SSO provides users with a single set of credentials to access multiple AWS accounts and applications. AWS SSO integrates with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) to provide centralized access control and user management. AWS SSO also supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) and provides users with a flexible and granular access control experience

There are many advantages to using Single sign-on in AWS. One advantage is that it allows users to access multiple applications with one set of credentials. This can save users time and reduce the risk of lost or forgotten credentials. Additionally, Single sign on can improve security by reducing the number of places where sensitive information is stored.
