**Description**

Ensure the administrator, technical, and billing contacts for the OVHcloud account and its services point to current, monitored people or team mailboxes. These contacts receive security notices, abuse reports, expiry warnings, and service incident messages.

**Rationale**

If contacts belong to people who have left or to unmonitored mailboxes, important messages such as abuse reports, security incidents, renewal warnings, and maintenance notices are missed. This can lead to service suspension, unexpected expiry, or slow response to security problems.

**Impact**

- Security and service notices reach the right people

- Reduces the risk of missed renewals or abuse reports

- Changing contacts requires the new contact to accept the change

**Default Value**

By default, all contacts are set to the account owner who created the service.

**Pre-Requisites**

- Access to the OVHcloud account owner login

- The OVHcloud ID (NIC handle) of each new contact

**Test Plan**

1. Log in to the OVHcloud Control Panel at [https://www.ovh.com/manager/](https://www.ovh.com/manager/).

2. Click your name in the top-right corner and, in the account menu, open the contacts of your services (Contacts management).

3. Review the administrator, technical, and billing contacts for each service.

4. If any contact is outdated or unmonitored, follow the implementation steps.

**Implementation Steps**

1. Log in to the OVHcloud Control Panel at [https://www.ovh.com/manager/](https://www.ovh.com/manager/).

2. Click your name in the top-right corner and open Contacts management from the account menu.

3. For the service, select the option to change contacts and enter the new contact's OVHcloud ID.

4. Ask the new contact to accept the change request from the email they receive.

**Backout Plan**

1. Log in to the OVHcloud Control Panel at [https://www.ovh.com/manager/](https://www.ovh.com/manager/).

2. Click your name in the top-right corner, open Contacts management, and request a change back to the previous contact.
