# iCompaas onboarding — connect clouds, people and repos

### The onboarding hub

After signing in, open _Account Settings → Onboarding_. The hub is your cloud security and compliance home base — connect clouds and personnel to get started. It has three connection tracks plus the compliance questionnaire:

### Suggested order

1.  **Connect at least one cloud account.** Scans start as soon as you click _Save & start scan_, so evidence begins accumulating on day one.
2.  **Fill in Proposal Scoping** in the questionnaire — it tailors what applies to your organisation.
3.  **Connect your identity provider** so people, admin roles and 2FA posture are tracked.
4.  **Connect your VCS and select repositories** to start collecting change evidence.

Every connection is read-only and authorised through the provider's own console or consent screen — iCompaas never asks for write access to your infrastructure.
