Most common causes

  1. Expired. Each code carries a "valid until" date; some are only valid for the first 30 days after sign-up.
  2. Wrong plan or billing interval. Many promotional codes apply to annual plans only.
  3. Already redeemed. First-time-customer codes cannot be reused.
  4. Geographic restriction. A few partner codes are limited to a region (e.g., India, EMEA).
  5. Currency mismatch. A code priced in one currency cannot always be applied across currencies; we'll surface the exact reason if so.

Self-fix checklist

  • Paste the code from a plain-text source (rich-text editors sometimes substitute hyphens/dashes silently).
  • Confirm the email address you signed up with matches the one the coupon was issued to.
  • If you're applying mid-cycle, switch to "apply at next renewal" rather than mid-cycle proration.
