Before you connect Utho in iCompaas, create a read-only API token in the Utho console. You will enter this token in iCompaas.

Step 1: Create a read-only API token in Utho

  1. Sign in to the Utho console at console.utho.com.

  2. On the left pane, under Account, click API Token.

  3. Click Create API Key.

                            

  1. In the Add New API Token panel, enter an API Name, for example iCompaas-Auditor.

  2. Leave the Write access checkbox unchecked to create a read-only token.

  3. Click Add New API.

                         

  1. Copy the API token immediately and store it securely. Utho displays the token only once.

  2. Verify that the new token is listed on the API Tokens page with the Scope displayed as Read.

Step 2: Connect Utho in iCompaas

  1. Sign in to app.icompaas.com.

  2. On the left pane, under Account Settings, click Onboarding.

                                

  1. Under the Cloud onboarding section, click Utho.

                                          

  1. On the Cloud account setup page, verify that Utho is displayed as Selected under Choose provider.

  2. In Cloud name, enter a name for the account, for example Prod Utho.

  3. In API token, paste the read-only token you created in Utho.

  1. Click Save & start scan.

  1. When the Cloud account added message is displayed, click Go to Cloud Accounts. Or, to connect another account, click Add another.

  1. Verify that the Utho account is displayed with the cloud name you entered.
